Table EV6. Annotation of merged putative enhancer regions.
Table listing merged candidate enhancer regions annotated in this study. Candidate enhancer regions from all cell lines (Table EV1) were merged using the reduce() function in the R/Bioconductor package GenomicRanges (Lawrence et al., 2013). For each merged enhancer region transcriptional activity is indicated by normalized TT-seq FPK in each cell line.
MergedEnhancerID: Column states merged enhancer identifier.
Chr, Start, End: Columns refer to the genomic location of the merged enhancer region (hg38 genome build).
EnhancerIDs: Column states cell line specific enhancer identifiers (see Table EV1) overlapping the merged enhancer region (note: this indicates in which cell lines the enhancer was annotated; it is possible that a merged enhancer region has sufficient observed read counts in one cell line but was not annotated in that cell line, e.g. if the read counts of an intergenic enhancer came only from one strand and thus the bidirectionality criterium needed to be annotated as an enhancer were not fulfilled).
CellLine_FPK: Columns state TT-seq measured transcriptional activity (normalized FPK) of the merged enhancer region in each cell line.
